RUNE OF THE MONTH: Beorc. Birch tree, birth. This month is pointing to a whole new beginning. The soul testing, the darkness and the challenges experienced, are now of the past. A bright new future is opening for us, a chance to recreate our lives completely and remove from the rest of our journey that which we no longer need or want.

Saturn remains retrograde this whole month (11º10’-9º55’ Sagittarius) and will remain so until August 13. Its shadow period lasts until November 19. These degrees are symbolized by “A flag turns into an eagle; the eagle into a chanticleer saluting the dawn”, “In the left section of an archaic temple, a lamp burns in a container shaped like a human body” and “A theatrical representation of a golden-haired goddess of opportunity”. As we take full responsibility for the realities our thoughts, choices and emotions are constantly creating in our lives, our mastery opens amazing new doors. Our expanding consciousness helps manifest a new dawn, not just for ourselves, but also for the whole of humanity.
Uranus turns retrograde at 24º30’ Aries, on Friday 7/29 and remains so until December 29. Its shadow period continues until April 15, 2017. This degree is symbolized by: “The possibility for man to gain experience at two levels of being”. Our expanding consciousness dissolves the veils. Our multidimensionality becomes available to us again.
Neptune remains retrograde this whole month until November 18. Its shadow period continues until March 11, 2017. The degree it travels in June (11º58’-11º29’ Pisces) is symbolized by the following image: “In the sanctuary of an occult brotherhood, newly initiated members are being examined and their character tested”. All the inner work we have done is now being put to the test. Those who have successfully done their homework, are shifting to a whole new level of consciousness that introduces them to a much deeper and truer sense of reality.
Pluto remains retrograde this whole month until Monday September 26. Its shadow period remains until November 19, 2017. The degrees traveled in July (16º22’-15º38’ Capricorn) are represented by “A repressed woman finds a psychological release in nudism” and “School grounds filled with boys and girls in gymnasium suits”. Our body is the vessel of our soul. The emergence of our real power requires a strong body and a solid sense of self-confidence. A day to avoid power games and stay clear of manipulations and corruption. During the next two weeks, we could be drawn to shining on stage. The arts, theater, dance and any form of glamorous self-expression feel attractive. A wonderful day to improve our home’s appearance and enlist the help of our friends or family members. A social event attended today is well planned and quite useful for our professional advancement. A great day to commit more deeply to a love relationship, with realism and a wish to build in the long run. Good also creating sound and solid financial structures that will continue to evolve in the future.
Friday 7/22: the Sun enters Leo (2:30 AM till August 22)
The next month brings out warmth, generosity and a wish to shine in us. We could feel more artistically inclined than usual as well as more sociable and fun loving. Play feels important, and our relationship with children (including our inner child!) improves.

A love relationship could be exciting, freeing but possibly short lived unless both parties are also really good friends and maintain a great level of personal independence.
