December astrological forecast

December 2019

RUNE OF THE MONTH: Laguz “the lake”. Deep and reflective, the lake allows us to see ourselves as if in a mirror without revealing anything of itself. We are being asked to look beyond appearances, to delve deeply into ourselves and look for what is hidden. A good month to pay attention to our dreams and write them down so that we may reflect upon them at leisure. We are also being required to respect and honor womanhood.

Jupiter enters Capricorn on December 2nd till December 20, 2020.

If we have lived debt-free, reasonably within our means and been financially sound and grounded, great rewards will be coming our way this coming year. If however, we have overspent, incurred huge debts, and have not been realistic financially, this could catch up with us in rather dramatic ways. We could see shops closing down and businesses going down under. Also a year that will separate the wheat from the chaff. False prophets, those who improvised their spirituality without any true grounding or initiation, could become exposed. A year to reap the rewards of past hard work, of increased wisdom and need to improve our life conditions. We may seek a better job with more pay or a home that better reflects our growth. We should come at all times from a place of great integrity, honesty and practical, disciplined work.  

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month until January 20th, 2020. Its shadow period remains until April 26, 2020. November astrological forecast

November 2019

RUNE OF THE MONTH: Isa “standstill, withdrawal, ice”. Ice enables us to walk on water, but can also be treacherous, even cost us our life, if not treaded on carefully enough. This rune calls for discipline, patience, caution and bravery. It also requires of us to listen carefully both to our inner self and our surroundings. Before the ice breaks, there is always the subtle sound of a crack. A month to slow down, stand in stillness and silence so that we may discern the truth in ourselves and in others. 

Uranus remains retrograde this whole month until January 20th, 2020. Its shadow period remains until April 26, 2020. The degrees traveled in November (4º27’ – 3º22’ Taurus) are symbolized by: “A widow at an open grave” and “The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow”. A lot of change is still in store for us both on a personal and collective levels, but even if those transformations seem to bring tremendous chaos at first, we shall find that in time, they lead to a better order. With a greater sense of space and freedom, we are able to more deeply connect to our inner truth.

During the next month and a half, Scorpio natives are favored. We won’t accept kindly betrayals of any sort. RUNE OF THE MONTH: Thurisaz “crossroads”. A month requiring of us to make important decisions for our future. We need to discern right from wrong and foresee the consequences of our decisions. RUNE OF THE MONTH: Ehwaz “movement, progress”. If we have felt stagnant, this a great month to break the routine and actively go forward.  RUNE OF THE MONTH: Berkana “Right action”. Right action dictated by our consciousness,  comes from the heart. It is fair, compassionate and loving. It leads to new growth, opens new doors, creates new possibilities. With new growth, comes abundance, meaning, healing and regeneration. 

July is an eclipse month. Eclipses only happen a few times a year. They are always very important crossroads in our evolution. The houses they fall in  in our personal astrological chart, indicate the areas of our life that are about to significantly change. 

Solar Eclipse in Cancer (10º38’) on Tuesday 7/2 at 12:18 PM. This degree is symbolized by “A clown caricaturing well-known personalities”. In ancient civilizations, the clown was the sage. He made people laugh with the truth of who they were. He used humor to reveal what was, that all saw, but none had the courage to denounce. This eclipse stimulates our creativity in unusual ways. It also helps give a reality to our dreams and can also brings abundance to our lives, both financially and spiritually. It helps us become aware of our limitations but not be stopped by them.  RUNE OF THE MONTH: Uruz “support”. From time to time, we all need encouragement and the sense that our backs are covered no matter what. Taking the time to appreciate ourselves and others, offer a positive word, have helpful thoughts and want the best for all, is where a happy society begins. Let us focus this month on random acts of kindness and whatever our circumstances seem, trust in benevolent outcomes.

Jupiter remains retrograde this whole month until August 11. Its shadow period extends until November 6th. RUNE OF THE MONTH: Gebo “commitment”. In the notion of commitment is the concept of promise, pledge and engagement. It is only by committing fully to a path, a person, a project, values, that we can reap true results. When we are wishy-washy about things, when we waver too much, when we don’t honor our word and don’t keep our promises, we don’t accomplish much, seem superficial or worse, unstable, and become untrustworthy to others. Our feelings being very black and white, we tend to avoid lukewarm or wishy-washy people. We need to experience and express passion. Our aesthetic tastes are also more intense than usual. Today, more specifically, could bring some conflicts. Tempers flare up quickly. Direct words are spoken without much prior thought, creating irreparable separations. Potentially aggressive people or situation should be avoided, as they could easily degenerate into violence. Extra caution is advised while driving a motor vehicle or using any sharp object.

We could feel quite dreamy today, inefficient and vaguely anxious. We could also be quite influenceable. Best to stay away from negative people as their words could make us more depressed than necessary. A day best used focusing on the positive, listening to uplifting music, watching a feel-good movie or reading an inspiring book.

Friday 12/7: Mars Conjunct Neptune (6:12 AM)

Physically, we could feel rather weak today, dreamy and unprone to making any effort in the “real” world. A day best spent resting, relaxing, taking it easy and going with the flow. Good for creative craft work, meditation and aquatic exercise.

Wednesday 12/12: Mercury enters Sagittarius (3:43 PM till January 5)

The next 3 weeks are perfect for long distance traveling, learning a new language, taking an interest in a different culture, furthering our education especially in the areas of the law, religion and/or philosophy. We feel more positive than usual, exert more self-confidence, and in general have more faith and trust in life, in ourselves as well as in others.

Sunday 12/16: Venus Sextile Saturn (6:27 AM), Mars Sextile Pluto (10:53 PM)

A good day to be very clear on a romantic involvement. We are able to look at a relationship with realism, a certain degree of detachment and a deeper understanding of its implications in our life. The perfect time to either end it or lift it to the next level of commitment. Focused artistic work leads to solid results. A good day for intense physical efforts as well as for starting a project requiring passion, power, stamina and courage.

Thursday 12/20: Sun Trine Uranus (8:21 AM)

A day of sudden and unexpected changes. It is important today to go with the flow, be present from moment to moment, and face challenges with creative inventiveness.  Reconnecting with someone from our past could help us appreciate all the changes we have gone through. A stimulating day that could bring us much freedom from the known while encouraging us to manifest our uniqueness.

Friday 12/21: Venus Trine Neptune (9:12 AM), Mercury Conjunct Jupiter (9:37 AM), Sun enters Capricorn (2:23 PM till January 20)

During this coming month we could be much more organized, efficient and hard-working than usual. An excellent time to make short and long-term plans, reassess our goals, as well as be clear on our values and priorities. 

Today, more specifically, a relationship could feel enchanted. But if it seems too good to be true, beware, as it may just be so and once the pink bubble has burst, end in a big disappointment. On the positive side, if we are careful not to let our imagination take over, there could be a soul link and a telepathic connection with another. Our esthetic sense is particularly refined. We want to focus on beauty around us and in each person we meet. This transit is particularly inspiring for artists who are able through their art to pierce the veils between dimensions.

Today, we also feel very generous, enthusiastic and confident. Let us however be careful to not promise more than we can deliver, as our words could exceed our capacity to fulfill them. Let us beware not to fall prey to those who would take advantage of our wishful mental state. Excellent for a long-distance trip which will expose us to distant cultures and expand our understanding of this world. Very good also for learning a new language, furthering our education or taking an interest in philosophy, religion or the law. Our mind is expansive, positive and adventurous.

Monday 12/24: Mercury Square Neptune (4:33 PM)

Confusion could mark this day. Our mind is not good with details and may even be quite impractical. We could feel dreamy and unfocused, more attracted to a world of our imagination than dealing with reality. Not a good day for signing legally binding documents or anything requiring concentration and discipline. We could be more tired and sensitive to noise, negativity, ugliness and darkness, than usual. 

Friday 12/28: Venus Sextile Pluto (1:27 PM)

A new or existing love relationship could make us experience more passion than we have ever known. Compromise, graciousness and compliance for the sake of peace and harmony, ease our social life. Artists could work with more intensity and creativity than usual.

Monday 12/31: Mars enters Aries (6:20 PM till February 14)

Aries natives are favored during the next 6 weeks. All others should also enjoy higher energy, feel more confident and optimistic. A great period to launch a project requiring enthusiasm, courage, positive energy, determination and physical stamina.
